These large platters are simply stunning! For use on special occasions, and equipped for wall display - indoors or out - between times. These are favorites for special wedding and anniversary gifts.

Hand-made using our traditional "Pitcher Molding" process, the scale and extreme forms of these platters push the technical envelope.

The vertical streaks that you see on many of these platters mark the flow of the slips or glazes as these large pieces are held vertically to allow the excess to run off. Along with other "marks of the maker", these irregularities contribute to the unique rich surfaces that result from traditional hand methods.
